Tuba

CURRICULUM

He began his studies in Tuba at the Musical Institute of Aosta and He obtained a master's degree at the “A. Boito ” Conservatory of Parma. He deepened his studies and perfected the execution and technique under the guidance of Mr. R. Bobo and V. Globokar of the Music School of Fiesole, near Florence, and He was entrusted with the role of tuba in the Italian Youth Symphony Orchestra. He was then awarded a scholarship for the High Perfectionism School of Saluzzo, with teachers D. Glidden and R. Tucci.
He was admitted to the “Tuba Virtuosité” class of the prestigious Conservatory of Lausanne (CH), under the guidance of M Mr. R. Bobo, and He received the  “Premier Prix de Virtuosité avec Félicitations” award. (First prize in virtuosity, with honors). He also continued his master's studies with Mr. Rex Martin and Gene Pokorny.
He was declared the winner in several auditions both in Italy and Europe, he played in the major Orchestras of Italy and abroad, such as the Orchester De La Suisse Romande, and has collaborated with some of the best conductors: C. Abbado, Z. Mehta, R. Muti, C. M. Giulini, S. Ozawa, G. Sinopoli, L. Maazel, G. Prètre and S. Bychkov.
He also won the Tuba auditions for the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Symphony Orchestra of Florence (where he currently play), for theAccademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Symphony Orchestra in Rome and for the Gran Teatro La Fenice in Venice.
Over the years he has held several Masterclasses and he's  also a Tuba Perfection teacher for the Music School in Fiesole, Florence.
