Salvatore was born in Salerno and began studying violin with Maestro Raffaele D’Andria and then perfected the study of violin with Maestro Felice Cusano.
In 2002 he graduated from the Higher Conservatory of Amsterdam under the guidance of Keiko Wataya.
Awarded in numerous National and International Competitions including Postacchini, Vittorio Veneto and Schumann; He has collaborated as First Violin  with various orchestras including Teatro alla Scala, Filarmonica della Scala, RAI National Symphony Orchestra, San Carlo Theatre, National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, La Fenice Theater in Venice, Les Arts in Valencia and La Sinfonica One in Madrid.
He currently holds the position of First Violin at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Symphony Orchestra.
