CURRICULUM

Graduated from the Conservatory of Music A. Corelli of Messina with full marks under the guidance of Salvatore Villardita. Subsequently he perfected at the Academy of Giardini Naxos with Maestro Calogero Palermo. Since 2002 he has been the first clarinet of the Orchestra del Teatro Vittorio Emanuele in Messina. As a soloist in the academic year 1999-2000 he performed the concert K622 by W.A. Mozart with the orchestra of the Conservatory of Messina as best student. He was conducted by several conductors including M. Arena, H. Sudan, Mario Bruno, D. Short, D. Agiman, C. Rizzari, G. Garbarino, F. Piva, N. Pavsckoschi, L. Campellone, R. Frizza, F. M. Bressan, N. Orciuolo, A. Dantone, J. Kovatchev, C. Palleschi, N. Luisotti, D. Oren, N. Mastrangelo, N. Santi, W. Humburg, A. Veronesi, S. Percacciolo, A. Licata etc. He has recorded for the record companies Rai Trade, Vicki and Scomegna. He has been invited several times to play the role of first clarinet by the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese, Orchestra del Teatro F. Cilea di Reggio Calabria, Orchestra del Teatro V. Bellini di Catania, Orchestra Rai Musica Leggera, Italian Philarmonic Orchestra. He also collaborates with the Orchestra del Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Orchestra del Teatro Vincenzo Bellini di Catania, Orchestra Regionale del Lazio. In addition to the concert activity, he has carried out and continues to carry out didactic activities at middle schools of music, music schools affiliated with the conservatory A. Corelli of Messina municipal and private. Director of the O.S.C. Sicilian orchestra of clarinets with which he won the first prize at the last edition of the National Competition A.M.A. Calabria in the ensemble music section.
